2.1 Installing the Empower Software Application


Purpose: The purpose is to guide the user in how to download the Empower application onto a work station from the Tracker Connect (Pty) Ltd web site.


Steps:

1.     Make sure that the hardware and software requirements of the workstation meets the minimum specifications listed in paragraph 1.5.

2.     Connect to the internet via your service provider. (Refer to your service provider specific connection procedure).

3.     Download the application from the following path: http://downloads.tracker.co.za/efs

4.     Follow the displayed instructions to retrieve the software from the web site.

 



Windows Installer 4.5 and Microsoft.NET  Framework 4 can also be installed independently by the client or his IT service provider.

 


Once the installation is completed a shortcut to the application will be automatically added to the user's desktop.
