Tab Sheets. This is a user interface with related functions grouped under a single heading which allows the user to drill down into the various available options e.g. Map Tab, Control Centre Tab, Stack Tab and Reports Tab.

Side Bar. A side bar is opened by the Map tab sheet activation and is displayed on the right side of the screen. A side bar may also contain tabs.

Radio Button. A radio button is a computer screen graphic that represents an option or command. You click in the radio button to choose the option or give the command. Radio buttons are a row of grey circles with their description adjacent.

Icon. An icon is a computer screen graphic that symbolise an option or command. By "clicking" an icon, a command is given. Icons differ in colour and symbols and have no words. Browsing over the icon with the mouse pointer will display a name, indicating its function.

Fields. Fields display information to the user and relates to the task performed. Certain fields can be active (accessible and can be changed by a user) or inactive (not accessible to the user and provide information only).

Drop-down Box.  Displayed next to fields for which limited sets of pre-defined options are available. Users cannot change these options. "Clicking" on the arrow with the left mouse button will display a list box containing a list of available options for that field.

Dialog Box. A screen opened by Empower requiring a decision from the user before continuing with the processing of a request.

Tick Box. Tick boxes are used to indicate a Yes/No condition. A Yes (or True) condition is indicated by a R in the box while a No (or False) condition is indicated by an empty box.  Where a tick box has not yet been updated (clicked), an empty condition will be indicated by a grey square in the box.

Notifications : Notifications comes in the form of messages and warnings to the user e.g. Empower is busy with Launching Application, Incorrect Password entered, etc. The recommended action to take by the user is incorporated into the notification.
